Galgotias, ESDA Triumph In 4th Environment Summit

  • Galgotias University and ESDA India Successfully Conclude the 4th World Environment Summit 2023

The 4th World Environment Summit 2023 was organised by Galgotias University, Greater Noida, in collaboration with the ‘Environment and Social Development Association’ (ESDA) in connection with India’s G-20 Presidency Year and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The conference, awards ceremony and exhibition took place from 4-6 November, with the first two days being hybrid and the third being online.

The 4th World Environment Summit 2023, brought together over 1000 participants from 4 continents and 22 Indian states and honoured over 70 individuals. The themes were sustainable development, climate change, environmental economics and environmental pollution and solutions. The event was organised in foreign partnerships with Villa College Maldives, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal and the Zoological Society of Bangladesh.

Their efforts at the 4th World Environment Summit demonstrate their commitment to a sustainable future”, Aradhana Galgotia, Director of Operations, Galgotias University, said.

“The 4th World Environment Summit showcased the collective efforts of institutions, organisations and individuals in advancing environmental causes and the event was a significant milestone, demonstrating the potential of collaboration”, Dr K Mallikharjuna Babu, Vice Chancellor, Galgotias University, said.

“The 4th World Environment Summit, a gathering of global leaders and change-makers, was a success in addressing pressing environmental issues, highlighting the importance of environmental sustainability and fostering enlightenment”, Dr Jitendra Nagar, Organising Secretary of the Event, Chairman, General Secretary of Environment and Social Development Association, Delhi, said.

The 4th World Environment Summit 2023 was a significant success towards promoting global environmental sustainability toward a greener future.
