- Odisha-based Centurion University of Technology and Management launches four-year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) in 2023-24 session
Centurion University’s FYUP in major disciplines like Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Applications and Information Technology, aligns with the National Education Policy 2020’s.
“The four-year UG programme offers a comprehensive curriculum to equip students with 21st-century skills, including experiential learning, research projects, internships and industry collaborations. It also encourages social activities, enhancing employability, social responsibility and global citisenship aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), thereby fostering global citisenship”, Supriya Pattanayak, Vice Chancellor, Centurion University, said.
“FYUP at Centurion University promotes innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership among students, encouraging them to pursue their passions beyond the classroom. It offers flexibility in choosing disciplines and allowing students to transition between them. The programme also allows students to determine their academic load and learn at their own pace”, Supriya Pattanayak, further added.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced that over 100 Indian institutions, including Delhi University and Visva Bharati University, have implemented FYUP in the current session.
