- IIT Delhi opens applications for its six-month Executive Programme for AI in Healthcare, covering AI/ML, healthcare data, clinical applications, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and responsible AI adoption.
The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has opened applications for the third batch of its Executive Programme for AI in Healthcare. The six-month programme is designed for healthcare professionals, technology leaders and innovators seeking to understand and implement artificial intelligence solutions in healthcare.
According to IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP), applications for the programme are open until December 9, 2026. The programme is scheduled to begin on December 12, 2026, and conclude on May 30, 2027. The course will be delivered online through live expert-led sessions.
The programme is open to graduate professionals working in industry or academia in areas relevant to AI in healthcare. IIT Delhi said the course is designed to help participants understand how AI can be translated from research settings into practical healthcare applications while addressing safety, ethics and effective implementation.
Programme Curriculum: Participants will receive practical exposure to AI and machine learning foundations, healthcare data and clinical AI applications. The curriculum also covers Generative AI, Agentic AI workflows, predictive analytics, healthcare automation, AI deployment and integration, and public health analytics.
The programme includes modules on healthcare data such as electronic medical records, medical imaging, physiological signals, genomics and Internet of Things data. Participants will also learn about data preprocessing, predictive modelling, clinical decision support, AI-powered healthcare dashboards and the integration of AI models with healthcare information systems.
The curriculum incorporates hands-on assignments and a capstone project, allowing participants to work on applied AI solutions for healthcare. Topics related to healthcare data ethics and compliance, including HIPAA, GDPR and India’s Digital Information Security in Healthcare Act, are also included.
Fees and Class Schedule: The programme fee is ₹1.50 lakh plus 18% GST. Classes will be conducted on Saturdays from 6 pm to 7:30 pm and Sundays from 11 am to 12:30 pm, making the format suitable for working professionals.
Participants who meet the programme requirements will receive an e-Certificate of Successful Completion from CEP, IIT Delhi. The programme also includes a two-day campus immersion at IIT Delhi, with travel and accommodation expenses to be borne separately by participants.
