Titan Scholarship 2026-27: Applications Open in Tamil Nadu

  • Titan Company and TEAL invite applications for the Titan Scholarship Scheme 2026-27 from eligible students in three Tamil Nadu districts. The scholarship supports first-year diploma and degree courses, with applications open until September 10.

Titan Company Limited and Titan Engineering and Automation Limited (TEAL) invite applications for the Titan Scholarship Scheme 2026-27, marking the 39th edition of the scholarship programme. The initiative aims to support meritorious students pursuing higher education and is open to eligible candidates from Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri and Tiruvannamalai districts of Tamil Nadu. The last date to submit applications is September 10, 2026.

The scholarship is intended for students beginning their first year of higher education in recognised institutions across India. Eligible applicants can pursue full-time regular Diploma, Undergraduate, Engineering, Medical or Agriculture courses. The scheme seeks to provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate academic merit and require support to continue their education.

To qualify, applicants must be permanent residents of Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri or Tiruvannamalai district. Candidates are required to have secured more than 50 per cent marks in both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. Students applying for the scholarship must also be enrolled in the first year of an eligible full-time programme at a recognised educational institution.

The selection process is primarily based on merit. However, the scheme gives additional consideration to certain groups, including SC/ST students, differently abled candidates, girl students, orphans and students from single-parent families, according to the published eligibility details. This approach is aimed at extending educational opportunities to students facing additional social or economic challenges.

An important condition of the scholarship is that applicants cannot simultaneously receive financial assistance from another scholarship scheme or company. Candidates are required to provide accurate information and declarations during the application process. If a student is subsequently found to have submitted false information, the scholarship can be withdrawn and any amount already disbursed may be recovered with applicable interest.

Eligible students can apply through the official Titan Scholarship application portal. The online process requires applicants to provide personal and contact information and complete email and mobile number OTP verification before proceeding with the application. Students are advised to review the eligibility requirements carefully and ensure that all information provided in the application is accurate.

The 39th edition of the Titan Scholarship Scheme continues the programme’s focus on supporting students from selected districts of Tamil Nadu in accessing higher education. By extending assistance to students entering diploma, undergraduate and professional programmes, the initiative seeks to reduce financial barriers and encourage deserving candidates to continue their academic journey.

With the application deadline set for September 10, 2026, eligible students are advised to complete the online application well before the closing date.
