Uttarakhand Launches Free Online Coaching for Competitive Exams

  • Uttarakhand approves the Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026, offering free online coaching for competitive and entrance exams to students in universities and government and aided colleges across the state.

The government of Uttarakhand will roll out the Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026, an initiative that will ensure that online coaching is available for free for those taking competitive and entrance examinations. The approval of the scheme has been granted by the chief minister of the state, Pushkar Singh Dhami.

According to the program, the students who pursue education from the universities, government college, and government-aided colleges in Uttarakhand shall be provided with online coaching and study material without spending money on any private coaching program. The motive behind such a program is to make good examination preparation accessible for all students especially those who are restricted financially/geographically.

The program includes coaching in various competitive exams. The coaching may be given to the students who will appear in the Civil Services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and state public service commissions as well as other competitive examinations like Defence Services, Banking, Railways, and SSC. The program also includes some eligibility and entrance examinations such as CAT, MAT, GATE, NET, and CSIR-NET.

The program is planned to be conducted using the online mode so that the students can take advantage of it while sitting at home. The program would be of immense use to those students who live in remote and hilly areas of Uttarakhand, which means that they do not have much access to coaching centers. This program will help in saving money too.

In doing so, the initiative seeks to ensure a level playing field for learners enrolled for examinations whose success might result in higher education, jobs within the government apparatus, and professional careers. It is hoped that the initiative will help learners who would not otherwise be able to access specialized tuition owing to geographical location or cost factors.

This program is part of the state’s general emphasis on youth development and skill improvement in education and employment. In making the examination preparation materials available to the students directly via the Internet, the government hopes to improve access to good guidance in various regions of the state.

As for now, no official date has been set, and it is expected that online mentoring will start once the scheme launches officially. Information on the process of registration, scheduling of classes, participating platforms and other relevant information is expected to be provided later by the government.

With the help of the Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026, Uttarakhand has planned to enhance access to exam preparation programs for competitive exams. It has been anticipated that the online program would help the candidates in gaining more convenience and access to education material while preparing for their competitive and entrance exams.
