The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow has invited applications for the position of Academic Assistant in its Agri-business Management (ABM) area. The recruitment is being conducted on a contractual basis and is aimed at candidates with postgraduate qualifications in relevant disciplines and experience in research, teaching, or academic projects.
The institute has announced one vacancy for the position, with the selected candidate receiving a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹40,000, along with House Rent Allowance as per institute norms. The initial appointment will be for six months and may be extended based on performance and institutional requirements.
Applicants must possess a postgraduate degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Resource Economics, Agri-business Management, or Food and Agri-business Management from a recognised institution, securing at least 60% marks in regular mode. Preference will be given to candidates with two to three years of relevant experience in teaching, research, or academic projects, particularly those associated with IIMs or other Institutes of National Importance.
The selected Academic Assistant will support faculty members in preparing course materials, presentations, assignments, and case studies. Responsibilities will also include assisting in student evaluation, coordinating academic activities, maintaining documentation, and providing administrative support to the ABM area. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is considered essential for the role.
