In a collaborative stride towards fostering sustainability and academic excellence, Smiling Tree partnered with the Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi for the Orientation Programme of the incoming M.Com. and MBA (IB/HRD/BA) Class of 2025.
The Orientation Programme was graced by notable dignitaries and thought leaders. Shri Rishi Raj Gupta, HR Leader and distinguished alumnus from the Class of 2005, joined as the Guest of Honour, while Shri Yogesh Andlay, Founder of Nucleus Software, was present as the Chief Guest. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. V. K. Shrotryia, Head and Dean of the Department of Commerce.
Held at the Sir Shankar Lal Concert Hall, University of Delhi, the event welcomed the new batch of students, marking the beginning of their academic journey. The orientation aimed to inspire, inform, and encourage students to embrace the values of leadership, innovation, and sustainability.

Smiling Tree’s participation underscores the importance of environmental stewardship in higher education. Through this partnership, a symbolic plantation activity was also initiated to promote eco-consciousness among students and faculty alike.
