Ramagya School, Sector 50, Noida, organized its Investiture Ceremony to formally appoint the newly elected Student Council in their leadership positions. The red-carpet event witnessed the presence of eminent journalist Mr. Sachin Gogoi, Editorial Lead at BBC Delhi, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Mr. Gogoi oversees the coverage on security and international affairs in the Asia-Pacific region. A former Chief Media Specialist at U.S. Embassy in New Delhi, he is also known for mentoring students through guest lectures at the institutions across the globe.
The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of S.H.O. Noida Police Anuj Kumar Singh, who delivered motivational messages on courage, integrity and the gravity of leadership. The well-attended event proved to be a turning point in building responsibility and the sense of leadership among the students.
A traditional lamp-lighting and an interfaith hymn initiated the cause of unity and purpose. Thereafter, the guests of honour were greeted and their motivational profiles were showcased to provide the audience a glimpse into their journey of service.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Utkarsh Gupta, Managing Director, Ramagya Group averred, “Leadership is not title, position, or empire; it is one’s capability to get things done. At Ramagya, we inculcate these leadership qualities among our students from a very early age through our Investiture Ceremony. We are confident our new council will lead with poise and motivate their peers while establishing standards of excellence within and outside the school.”
Outgoing Presidents shared emotional speeches while looking back at their experiences, having confidence in the new leadership team. The cultural moment of the event was a high-energy dance performance, accompanied by a solemn candle march representing the transfer of leadership roles.
The highlight of the day was when the newly elected President, Vice President, House Captains, and the members of the council accepted their badges, held flags in their hands, and took their oath of office, vowing to serve with dedication and adhere to the school values. The Chief Guests’ speeches inspired the audience, and the ceremony ended on a sentimental note with a vote of thanks and the singing of the National Anthem.
The event once again reasserted Ramagya School’s dedication to cultivating leadership, encouraging responsibility and inculcating values that equip students to be the beacons of a brighter tomorrow.
