byteXL, the ed-tech platform for engineering education and IT skilling, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NIMS University, Jaipur, to revolutionize technology education. The initiative reflects byteXL’s commitment to transforming engineering education by integrating scalable tech-driven skilling with measurable career outcomes.
byteXL will deliver a comprehensive Blended BTech Degree Program, empowering over 800 NIMS students across the 2028 and 2029 graduating batches with industry-ready technical skills. Under this partnership, the ed-tech company will provide skilling through its advanced cloud-based platform, which includes a Learning Management System (LMS), curated technical content, byteXL’s proprietary project building platform NIMBUS, and detailed student analytics.
As part of the collaboration, byteXL will also co-design and execute technical courses in consultation with the university, delivering them on-campus through a blended academic model. The partnership includes a strong focus on career outcomes, offering guaranteed paid internships in the third year and placement drives in the fourth year.
Speaking about the partnership, Karun Tadepalli, CEO & Co-founder of byteXL, stated, “This partnership is part of byteXL’s broader mission to make cutting-edge tech education accessible and impactful. It will enable us to combine cutting-edge AI tools with industry-aligned technical skilling, empowering students to not only learn but also thrive in an increasingly tech-driven world. Together, we are ensuring graduates are equipped with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the fast-evolving job market.”
Sricharan Tadepalli, CSO & Co-founder of byteXL, added, “Our collaboration with NIMS University is a testament to how academia and industry can come together to create scalable, impact-driven education models. By integrating our platform into the university’s academic framework, we are delivering not only high-quality technical content but also real-time analytics and personalized support – enabling NIMS to enhance student outcomes and empower learners to confidently step into a competitive tech landscape.”
Santosh Nair, Executive President – Global, NIMS University, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Our goal at NIMS University has always been to prepare students for life beyond the classroom. Partnering with byteXL gives us the opportunity to offer students a tangible, career-oriented experience. With this collaboration, we can bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations, ensuring our graduates are ready to excel in today’s fast-paced tech world.”
“This partnership with byteXL represents our commitment to evolving with the times while staying rooted in academic excellence,” said Dr. Balvir S. Tomar, Chairman of NIMS University. “Incorporating a tech-driven skilling model into our BTech curriculum reflects our belief that universities must go beyond traditional education. We are proud to offer our students not only access to cutting-edge platforms but also real opportunities for internships and placements that align with the demands of today’s industry.”
“For years, engineering education has relied heavily on rote learning and outdated lab work. What we needed was a meaningful shift – not just in curriculum, but in how we teach and engage students,” added Dr. Eshan Sharma, Director of NIMS University. “Partnering with byteXL allows us to bring that shift into motion. Together, we are redefining how technical education is delivered, how students engage with knowledge, and how they build the confidence to solve real-world problems from the classroom itself.”
