Members of the 1975 batch of St Aloysius High School, Jabalpur, recently came together to mark their Golden Jubilee with a weeklong reunion. Held in Jabalpur and the surrounding Bandhavgarh area, the gathering brought together alumni from across the country—now established professionals, entrepreneurs, and retirees—who reflected on their personal and professional milestones since graduating five decades ago.

The reunion, hosted in the heart of Jabalpur, provided an opportunity for the diverse group of alumni to reflect on the paths they had carved in their respective fields. From doctors to engineers, chartered accountants to social workers, the batch has made its mark in various walks of life, leaving an indelible legacy for future generations to follow.

Notable among the attendees were Satinder Singh Sethi, a businessman who, along with his son, runs the renowned Number 7 multi-cuisine restaurant, and Sunil Agarwal, an entrepreneur with numerous business interests. Krishna Verma and Shantonu Moitra, both electronics and telecom engineers who have held senior positions such as Directors, Senior Vice Presidents, and Advisors in multinational corporations. Sravi, a chartered accountant and former chairman of the Bombay Stock Exchange, was also among the distinguished attendees.

The alumni group’s gathering also served a larger purpose. Beyond rekindling personal bonds, it acts as a platform for mobilising collaboration for social good.
