The Hindi debate competition is an annual event hosted by Vasant Valley School, drawing in numerous students each year. The competition serves as a platform for students to build their confidence and public speaking skills.

Interestingly, students who won the title in 2022 had the honour of serving as judges for this year’s competition.

The competition featured debates on various contentious topics. The participants lauded the event, highlighting the extensive support they received from their teachers, who worked tirelessly alongside them.

The runner-up team, Scindia School from Gwalior, also expressed their appreciation for the competition, stating that they had engaged in thorough discussions and presented their viewpoints effectively.

Rekha Purie, the chief guest at the annual event, commended the students for their well-argued presentations on the debate topics, noting that their performances were impressive and thought-provoking.

The debate competition also received high praise from Sudhir Chaudhary, Consulting Editor, Aak Tak, who acknowledged the students’ ability to articulate their arguments and their grasp of the Hindi language.

“The children who participated in this competition were truly commendable. You can only form an ideology when you listen to the thoughts of others. The issues raised by the children were truly praiseworthy, and the government should consider these arguments put forth by them,” Sudhir Chaudhary said while speaking to Aaj Tak.

“The children’s command of Hindi and vocabulary was impressive. Your vocabulary can take you far, but to achieve this, you must read more, which will propel you forward, and we must continue to build upon this progress,” he added.
