- MGM School of Sports and Coaching Beyond Cricket Academy, founded by Ravi Shastri, B Arun and R Sridhar, unite to enhance cricket coaching standards in Odisha, aiming to nurture promising talent
MGM School of Sports, a cricket academy, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Coaching Beyond Cricket Academy, founded by esteemed cricket personalities Ravi Shastri, B Arun and R Sridhar, former Team India coaches.
Situated near Cuttack city, just 30 kilometers from Bhubaneswar, this state-of-the-art residential academy, a subsidiary of MGM Minerals Ltd, boasts world-class infrastructure including international-standard cricket grounds, indoor arenas, gymnasiums and more.
The collaboration with Coaching Beyond Cricket Academy is poised to elevate the standards of cricket coaching in Odisha by bringing in the expertise and experience of some of the most renowned names in Indian cricket. S L Venkatapathy Raju, the former Indian test cricketer, joins the team as a consultant coach, further enriching the coaching setup at MGM School of Sports.
MGM School of Sports will select up to 50 promising young male cricketers through a transparent process. These selected individuals will receive high-performance training at a subsidised fee, with plans to expand opportunities for both male and female cricketers in the future.

Through this collaboration, MGM School of Sports and Coaching Beyond Cricket Academy aims to imbue aspiring cricketers with the skills, knowledge and values necessary to excel in the sport, not just at the regional or national level, but on the global stage.
