- Amity School of Engineering & Technology at Amity University convenes the 4th International Conference on Information Technology, focusing on ‘Adaptive Intelligence’ and fostering global collaborations
Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh hosted the 4th International Conference on Information Technology, focusing on ‘Adaptive Intelligence: Evolve your World’. The conference, supported by the Science & Engineering Research Board and the Department of Science & Technology, attracted scientists, academicians and industry experts.
An MoU was signed between Amity University Uttar Pradesh and the University of Pretoria, South Africa, aiming to foster collaboration, faculty exchange programmes and cross-pollination of ideas, thereby opening innovation avenues in the field of information technology.
Dr Christian Blum, Senior Research Scientist, Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, Spanish National Research Council, Spain was bestowed the Honourary Professorship by Amity University.
Dhurai Ganesan, Vice President, Automation Engineering & Services, NTT Data Services, stated, “AI is rapidly transforming the way organisations are functioning today. The most significant thing is to ensure the security of data and technology is about how we learn and adapt to the changing scenario and requirements.”
Dr N Ranjana, Scientist ‘H’ and Director, Directorate of Futuristic Technology Management, DRDO, said, “The human mind must evolve and adapt to the changing scenarios. AI will change the way we think and work and it will help in the betterment of mankind. We need to ensure that we adopt responsible AI and ethical deliberations. Speed is the key to adopting new technologies and passion is required to drive the change.”
Dr Manoj Kumar Pandey, Director, Amity School of Engineering & Technology, said, “This technical Conference aims to provide a platform for Industry and Academia for sharing advancements in Research and Development in upcoming areas of Adaptive Intelligence.”
