Acharya Bangalore B-School (ABBS), Bengaluru, has been granted autonomous status by Bangalore University. This recognition effective from 2024, marks a significant milestone in ABBS’s journey towards academic excellence, innovation and high-quality education. The status is valid for 10 years from 2023-24 to 2033-34, as per clause 7.5 of the UGC (Conferment of Autonomous Status Upon Colleges and Measures for Maintenance of Standards in Autonomous Colleges) Regulations, 2023.

In 2012, ABBS achieved its first cycle of NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation, setting the stage for continuous improvement and excellence. Subsequent years witnessed a series of achievements, including UGC 2f recognition in 2014, NBA accreditation for the MBA Department (2014-2016) and International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) accreditation in 2015.
Acharya Bangalore B-School has been recognised with UGC 12B recognition and the second cycle of NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation. In 2023, it achieved the third cycle of NAAC ‘A’ Grade accreditation, solidifying its reputation for academic excellence. In 2024, the University Grants Commission (UGC) granted Acharya Bangalore B-School autonomous status, highlighting its autonomy in academic and administrative matters.
