Registrations for CBSE Board Exams 2024 to Begin on 12 Sept. for Private School Students

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced the commencement date for the 2024 exam form submissions, applicable to Class 10 and Class 12 private students.

The students will have the opportunity to submit their exam applications online for the 2024 board exams through the official website of the CBSE starting on September 12th and ending on October 11th.

And late fee of Rs 2,000 will be imposed on applications submitted between October 12th and 19th.

In 2024, CBSE will be conducting the board exams for private students based on the syllabus made available on the official website. The board has formally released a statement specifying the various categories of private students eligible to participate in the 2024 board exams.

According to the CBSE notice outlining these categories, the exams for private students will coincide with the board’s annual examinations in February, March and April 2024.

CBSE 2024 Board Exam: Eligibility Criteria for Students

Candidates from the 2022-23 session who received an essential repeat designation in the 2022-23 examination.

Students of the 2022-23 session who were placed in compartment status during the board’s primary examination in 2023.

Candidates who found themselves in the compartment status during the first opportunity compartment exam.

Candidates declared as failed or requiring an essential repeat in the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Graduates from the years 2022 and 2023 who intend to enhance their performance in one or more subjects.

Graduates from the years 2022 and 2023 who wish to take an additional subject.

Female candidates who are legitimate residents of Delhi.

Candidates with special needs who are residents of Delhi and meet the age requirements for appearing in Class 10 or 12.
