Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi has launched an online certification course in ‘Project Management: Theory & Practice’ under its Continuing Education Programme (CEP).
The course will be in online mode for a duration of six months (60 hours) and sessions will be scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The classes will begin on 4 November 2023. The last date to apply for the course is 15 October.
Candidates applying for this course are required to have completed their graduation/diploma in any branch of engineering from a recognised institute. They will have to submit proof of the same in form of a consolidated graduation marksheet. Students in their final year will have to submit the marksheet of previous semesters. Applicants are required to submit any government-issued photo ID along with a passport-sized photograph.
The program will include midterm and end-term reviews, which may be conducted online or in person on the IIT Delhi campus. The faculty will choose the evaluation standards. There will be tests, assignments, projects, case studies, and more. Faculties of different IITs, IIMs and other major institutes from India and abroad are invited to teach this course.
Minimum requirements to avail the certificate at the end of the course include – at least 70 per cent attendance and 50 per cent in evaluation elements. CEP will issue an e-certificate to all those who qualify these requirements.
