The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023. According to the updated timetable, candidates now have the opportunity to submit their applications for CAT 2023 until September 20.
Prospective candidates will be able to complete their registrations on the official of the CAT 2023 until 5 pm on September 20.
It is worth noting, however, that the institute strongly advises students to register as early as possible to avoid a last-minute rush. They have also emphasised that there will be no further extensions granted beyond this deadline.
Previously, candidates were given until September 13 at 5 pm to apply for the test. The registration fee for SC, ST, and PwD category candidates is set at Rs 1200, while for all other categories, it stands at Rs 2,400. Importantly, this fee is non-refundable and is only required to be paid once, even if the candidate intends to apply to multiple institutions.
The rest of the CAT 2023 schedule remains unchanged. According to the original timeline, admit cards will be accessible from October 25 at 5 pm and the examination itself is scheduled for November 26, taking place in three different sessions. The results for CAT 2023 are expected to be released in the second week of January 2024.
It’s worth noting that last year, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM)-Bangalore extended the registration deadline from September 14 to September 21, similar to this year’s extension by IIM Lucknow.
