In anticipation of the upcoming G20 summit, the Delhi government has made an important announcement regarding school closures and the participation of Education department employees. From September 7 to September 10, all schools in Delhi will remain closed. Simultaneously, the government has urged Education department employees to stay within the city during this period, ready to provide their assistance if needed for the event.

The G20 Leaders Summit is set to take place on September 9-10 at the newly constructed Bharat Mandapam convention center in Pragati Maidan, Delhi. To ensure seamless preparedness for this significant international event, the government has mandated that Education department staff be available and on standby throughout the specified period. Furthermore, no outstation leave will be permitted during this time frame.

This directive underscores the pivotal role of Education department employees in facilitating the smooth execution of the G20 Summit. The event is expected to draw a multitude of world leaders and dignitaries, underscoring the paramount importance of their presence in Delhi during this crucial period.
