XLRI Jamshedpur inaugurated three postgraduate programmes in online mode on 24 July 2022. These programmes were introduced in the context of the changing landscape of management education and in alignment with the New Education Policy (NEP) introduced by the Government of India in 2020. The programmes included Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Online), Post Graduate Diploma in Finance (Online) and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (Online). The institute has opened its admissions for the second batch intake.
XLRI’s Online Learning offers three programmes:
Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management: The PGDBM (Online) program is equipping the participants with an integrated approach to management function and related skills. The programme also provides an opportunity to concentrate in one or two of the functional areas (viz. Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Production, Operations & Decision Sciences and Strategic Management). The program is delivered online with three one-week campus immersion modules throughout 2 years.
Post Graduate Diploma in Finance: The PGDF (Online) programme is mapped to the CFA Programme, helping participants advance their career options as finance professionals. The PGDF (Online) programme covers at least 70 per cent of the CFA Programme syllabus and incorporates the module of the CFA Institute’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. The programme is delivered online with three one-week campus immersion programmes throughout the two years.
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management: The PGDHRM (Online) programme facilitates the learning and application of concepts, techniques & practices in managing human resources, in addition to exposing the student to different functional areas of management to enhance effectiveness. As a specialised programme, there are no separate areas for concentration. The programme is delivered online with three one-week campus immersion modules throughout two years.
