The programme was inaugurated by Dr Lalitha Balakrishnan, Management Consultant and focussed on “Setting New Benchmarks in Management Education”.
According to a college statement, effective pedagogical tools including case study method, simulation-based learning, gamification, story telling and application of digital tools for interactive learning were discussed with domain experts including Dr Anuradha Prashant, Kiran Surti, Kartic Vaidyanathan, Janaki Simon Peteer Paul.
To bridge the gap between the industry and academia, sessions on placement, networking with industry, improving school ranking and fostering entrepreneurship were held. Resource persons including Captain Venkatraman from Madras Management Association, V Raja from Cavin-Kare, Arindam Business Standard and Dr Beula David were invited to speak.
A-one day visit to the IIT- Incubation Center was also organized to throw light on the support system for budding entrepreneurs. Capacity Building Sessions for the faculty on membership and collaborations, management consultancy, research and publications were delivered by eminent speakers such as Bhanu Kumar, Krishna Srinivas – Tube Investments, Dr Thenmozhi, IIT Madras and Dinesh Gajendran Audacious Dreams.
