The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has opened applications for its Executive Certificate Programme in Managerial Decision Making and Analytics. The six-month online course is designed for working professionals seeking to strengthen managerial decision-making skills through data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI) and practical business applications.
Offered through IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP), the course is scheduled to begin on January 24, 2027, and conclude on July 24, 2027. Interested candidates must submit their applications by November 10, 2026.
Graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply for the Executive Certificate Programme in Managerial Decision Making and Analytics. However, the institute gives preference to applicants with at least two years of work experience.
The programme is intended to help professionals understand how analytical methods and data-driven approaches can support business decisions. It focuses on applying these techniques to managerial challenges and improving decision-making across organisational functions.
The total programme fee is ₹1,00,000, excluding 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST). Applicants must also pay an application fee of ₹1,180. Classes will be conducted online on Fridays from 10 am to 1:30 pm, including a 30-minute break. The online format allows participants to pursue the course alongside their professional commitments.
The programme also offers an optional two-day campus immersion at IIT Delhi. Participants choosing this option must bear their own travel and accommodation expenses. Participants who meet the prescribed attendance and evaluation requirements will receive an e-certificate from IIT Delhi’s Continuing Education Programme.
The programme is coordinated by Professor Abhijit Majumdar, R. Jaikumar Chair Professor of Operations Management in the Department of Textile and Fibre Engineering. The faculty team also includes Professor Surya Prakash Singh, Professor Smita Kashiramka and Professor Sushil from the Department of Management Studies.
