SOIL Institute of Management Introduces ‘Future of Capitalism’ Program in partnership with Shizenkan University alongside IESE Business School

SOIL Institute of Management has launched The Future of Capitalism (FoC), a global learning program designed to explore how business leadership must evolve in response to shifting economic, social, and environmental realities.

The program is offered by SOIL in partnership with Shizenkan University, Japan. SOIL is also part of the core group of institutions shaping the initiative, alongside IESE Business School and Fundação Getulio Vargas. The collaboration emerged from shared academic discussions on how management education has increasingly prioritized short-term outcomes and rankings, often leaving limited space for conversations around responsibility, ethics, and the long-term consequences of business decisions.

Originally initiated by IESE Business School and Shizenkan University, The Future of Capitalism has evolved into a global learning platform, bringing together participants from more than 20 business schools across five continents. The diversity of backgrounds and professional experiences shapes a rich dialogue on leadership, purpose, and the role of business in society.

Speaking on the program, Anil Sachdev, Founder, SOIL Institute of Management said, “The primary aim of this program is to encourage participants to critically examine the roles and responsibilities of business enterprises and their leaders. Through conversations that address themes ranging from ESG and impact investing to the redefinition of corporate value creation, the program creates space for deeper reflection on responsible leadership within capitalism.”
