- National Olympiad to test analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills of UG and PG students
Woxsen University, Hyderabad, is going to host its flagship National Olympiad, ‘Red Hat Brainiac Champion 2026’ on January 28–29, 2026. Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all streams, the Olympiad has been designed to challenge participants to put their analytical skills, decision-making abilities and teamwork to the test.
The competition will follow a dynamic, multi-stage format. In the first round, or the Online Foundational Intelligence Assessment round, participants will compete in business- and tech-driven analytical case sets. This is meant to test their quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal reasoning and psychometric behaviour. In the Strategic Thinking and Communication round (Round 2), selected participants will take part in an on-campus treasure hunt challenge, portraying a sense of leadership and structured thinking. The final Championship-Level Problem-Solving round will have participants stepping into a mega puzzle arena.
Aimed at students in the 18–24 age group, the Red Hat Brainiac Champion Olympiad goes beyond conventional testing. It seeks to identify students with strong logical thinking, collaboration and strategic reasoning skills — capabilities increasingly demanded by industry and higher education institutions alike.
Big Rewards, Bigger Opportunities
Winners of the Olympiad will receive a cash prize of INR 50,000, along with rewards and benefits worth INR 10 lakh, spread across multiple categories. Participants will also have the opportunity to secure internships with industry partners, offering valuable exposure to professional environments early in their careers.
Learning That Lasts Beyond the Competition
Every participant will receive a personalised, expert-supervised, AI-generated performance report, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement. In addition, students will gain free access to premium preparation resources for IELTS, TOEFL and GRE, supporting their future academic and global ambitions.
