J.K. Shah Classes Partners with Jaro Education to Scale Online Commerce Education in India

J.K. Shah Classes (JKSC), a Veranda enterprise, has partnered with Jaro Education to expand access to structured and outcome-driven commerce education across India.

With over four decades of academic leadership, J.K. Shah Classes is a category leader in coaching for professional commerce certifications including CA, CS, CMA, CFA, and ACCA, educating over 50,000 students annually across 111 centers. Its academic impact is reflected in 2,072+ CA rankers and 245 CS rankers, along with an alumni network that includes senior corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and contributors to national governance. Founded in 2009, Jaro Education works with leading Indian and global institutions to deliver accredited programmes through online and hybrid formats, supporting institutions in scaling responsibly.

The collaboration is anchored in J.K. Shah Classes’ proven academic rigor and Veranda’s vision of scaling high-quality education through integrated digital delivery. It comes at a time when India faces a growing shortage of qualified commerce professionals, with the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Mr. Charanjot Singh Nanda, projecting a requirement of nearly 50 lakh Chartered Accountants by 2050.

As part of its ‘Veranda 2.0’ strategy, Veranda Learning has consolidated its commerce vertical under the newly created entity, J.K. Shah Commerce Education, integrating brands such as J.K. Shah Classes, BB Virtuals, Navkar Digital Institute, Tapasya College of Commerce and Management, and Logic School of Management. The company is in the process of obtaining stock exchange approvals for the demerger, aiming to create a focused, debt-free platform for the high-growth commerce education segment within 7–12 months.

Under the partnership, Jaro Education will support the digital delivery and selective scale-up of J.K. Shah Classes’ commerce programmes by providing technology infrastructure and learner support services. This enables J.K. Shah Classes to extend its ICAI- and ICSI-aligned pathways to learners in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Commenting on the collaboration, Dr Sanjay Salunkhe, Founder & CMD, Jaro Education, said:
