IIT Kanpur Hosts SATHEE Summit 2025: 200+ Students Engage with Expert Panel

IIT Kanpur recently hosted the SATHEE Summit 2025, a landmark outreach event organized under the Self-Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams (SATHEE) initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE) and IIT Kanpur. Over 200 students from schools across the Kanpur region, including Sai Applewood Public School, Sri Ram Education Centre, Puranchandra Vidya Niketan, and Jawahar Lal Nehru School, participated in the summit.

The event featured a distinguished panel of experts who shared insights and strategies for cracking competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, CUET, SSC, Banking, and ICAR. Notable speakers included Dr. Amey Karkare (CSE Professor, IIT Kanpur), Dr. R. K. Nigam, Dr. Arvind Kumar Konda (Scientist, ICAR–IIPR), Mr Brajendra Bajpai (Assistant Audit Officer), Mr Pramod Kumar (Chief Manager, SBI), Mr Utkarsh Tiwari, and Dr. Sudheer Kumar Srivastava.

The summit emphasized disciplined study plans, concept-building, and domain-specific strategies to help students navigate national-level entrance exams. Mr. Anurag Pandey and his team coordinated the event, ensuring interactive sessions that allowed students to engage directly with the experts.

SATHEE, launched by the MoE in partnership with IIT Kanpur, aims to offer free, high-quality video lectures, structured exam preparation, and doubt-solving support to students across India, especially those in resource-limited areas. The initiative has already achieved success, with government school students qualifying for JEE Main 2025—attributed to SATHEE’s mentoring support.

The summit underscored IIT Kanpur’s commitment to democratizing education and empowering students nationwide through accessible learning resources and expert guidance.
