Dr. Vishal Narayan, a distinguished academic and alumnus of Delhi University and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), has been appointed Associate Dean of Graduate Business Programs at the University of Connecticut School of Business (UConn), a top-ranked public business school in the United States.
In this leadership role, Dr. Narayan will oversee nine graduate programs serving over 1,200 students, including a significant number from India. UConn’s MS in Business Analytics & Project Management (BAPM) program alone currently enrolls 118 Indian students, underscoring the university’s growing appeal among Indian postgraduate aspirants.

Dr. Narayan brings a wealth of international experience to the role. He earned his Ph.D. from New York University in 2007 and previously taught at Cornell University and the National University of Singapore before joining UConn in 2022. As a Professor of Marketing, his research spans marketing analytics, emerging markets, and social media, with publications in leading academic journals.
A strong advocate for accessible, value-driven education, Dr. Narayan led the redesign of UConn’s MBA programs to better align with post-pandemic student needs: emphasizing flexibility, innovation, and career readiness.
