IIM Nagpur and ACCA Sign MoU to Strengthen Collaboration in Finance and Accountancy Education

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur has entered into a strategic partnership with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a leading global professional accountancy body, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration is set to advance the quality and global relevance of finance and accountancy education at IIM Nagpur.

Prof. Bhimaraya Metri, Director of IIM Nagpur, signed the MoU with Mr. Prabhanshu Mittal, Head – Educational Partner Relationships (India), ACCA, who was present on the occasion. “This partnership with ACCA is a significant step in our mission to nurture socially responsible, globally competent leaders. By collaborating with ACCA, we are expanding opportunities for our students to acquire international exposure and contemporary skills. The MoU aligns seamlessly with IIM Nagpur’s vision of being a future-oriented management institution delivering high-impact knowledge,” said Prof. Metri.  

Md. Sajid Khan, Director – India, ACCA, expressed his enthusiasm for the association. “We are delighted to collaborate with IIM Nagpur, a dynamic and forward-thinking institution. Together, we aim to empower students with globally respected qualifications and prepare them to thrive as industry-ready finance professionals.”

The partnership will facilitate access to ACCA’s global learning resources, joint student development programmes, faculty capacity building, research initiatives, and outreach activities such as workshops and seminars reinforcing IIM Nagpur’s commitment to delivering inclusive, industry-aligned management education.

Prof. Prashant Gupta (Dean – faculty, academics and alumni affairs), Prof. Swamy Perumandla, from IIM Nagpur, and Mr. Rohan Raj Vanshi from ACCA were also present at the MoU signing ceremony.
