CIASL Academy, the educational initiative of Cochin International Airport Ltd. (CIAL), has extended the last date for applications to its aviation programs recognized by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). The new deadline for submitting applications is June 10.
The academy is inviting applications for a range of career-oriented courses including the Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management, Advanced Diploma in Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting, and certificate courses in Airport Passenger Service Management and Airport Ramp Service Management. The PG Diploma programs are of one-year duration, while the certificate courses run for six months.
Eligibility criteria vary across the courses. Candidates applying for Aviation Management, Airport Ramp Service, and Passenger Service programs must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Those interested in the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting course should have completed Plus Two with Science subjects and must clear a physical fitness test.
Designed with a strong industry focus, these courses combine classroom learning with practical training and place special emphasis on personality development, soft skills, and communication. The academic structure and examination processes are directly supervised by CUSAT, and successful candidates will be awarded CUSAT-recognized certificates. CIASL Academy is currently the only institution in Kerala offering university-approved aviation training programs.
Adding to its credibility, the institution is also recognized by the International Airport Council of Canada, lending international value to its certifications and enhancing global employment prospects for its students.
