These themes deeply resonated with educators, counselors, students, and policymakers present at the forum. Hosted at The Gaudium School, Kollur, the event brought together voices from 135 institutions to share insights, approaches, and experiences focused on improving career counseling and student well-being in education. These were aimed at strengthening the educational ecosystem through collaboration, emotional support, and structured guidance.

The IC3 Regional Forum in Hyderabad saw 171 registrations, reflecting strong engagement from Telangana’s education community. The forum focused on enhancing student outcomes through holistic career counseling practices. Under the guiding theme of “Counseling as a Culture,” the discussions laid emphasis on the key role of embedding guidance and support into the daily fabric of school life.

Speaking about the forum, Mr. Ganesh Kohli, Founder of the IC3 Movement, said, “Hyderabad has long been a part of the IC3 Movement, and we’ve seen firsthand how consistent engagement around counseling can positively shape student journeys. As the city continues to grow as a hub for technology, research, and innovation, the need for strong emotional and career guidance in schools becomes even more vital. The IC3 Regional Forum in Hyderabad reinforces the importance of making counseling a central, ongoing part of education—not just for academic planning, but for building self-confidence, emotional well-being, and future readiness. With the support of the IC3 network and the growing commitment of our local educators, we are well-positioned to create learning environments where every student can thrive, both inside and outside the classroom.”

The event’s sessions included dynamic workshops on emotional intelligence, panel discussions on career trends, and presentations on aligning education with the evolving global job market. Educators left equipped with practical strategies to build resilient, well-informed, and emotionally secure students.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Indu Shahani, Founding President & Chancellor, ATLAS SkillTech University said, “In today’s evolving educational landscape, there is a growing need to move beyond traditional academics and nurture students as whole individuals. Career counseling must become a core part of the school environment to support students in building clarity, confidence, and resilience. The IC3 Regional Forum in Hyderabad plays an important role in encouraging this shift, helping institutions come together to reimagine how young people are supported in shaping their futures.”

Ammar Zoeb, Director, Trade & Investment, Australian Government, said, “Career counseling is an essential link between education and the global workforce. As students face a wider range of choices and challenges than ever before, structured guidance is key to helping them navigate opportunities with purpose and preparedness. Forums like these in Hyderabad highlight the importance of building strong, future-ready support systems across educational institutions, and create a valuable space for international collaboration in student development.”

The 2025 IC3 Regional Forums continue to serve as a vital platform for knowledge sharing and networking among educators and counselors across the region, leading up to the Annual IC3 Conference & Expo, the flagship event of the IC3 Movement.
