The knowledge-sharing series commenced on January 10 with an Expert Talk on “Industry Expectations & Desired Skills from Gen Z.” The session, led by Mr. Ankesh Kumar, Director, Global Strategic Marketing at Schneider Electric, provided students with a clear understanding of the evolving industry landscape. He emphasized the importance of digital proficiency, leadership, adaptability, and effective communication as key competencies for success in today’s workforce. The talk encouraged students to become lifelong learners, continuously upgrading their skills to meet industry expectations.
Following this, on January 29, ITM University hosted another insightful Expert Talk on “Awareness on NEP 2020” by Dr. Jasmine Jha and Prof. Richa Singh. The session offered an in-depth exploration of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, discussing its structural reforms, long-term impact, and role in transforming India’s higher education landscape. The discussion emphasized the importance of a flexible, skill-based education system designed to enhance student learning outcomes and career readiness.
The highlight of the series was the IIT E-Summit 2025, held on February 1-2, which brought together aspiring entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors. The summit served as a bridge between theoretical knowledge and practical business applications, offering interactive workshops, case studies, and networking opportunities. Students had the chance to pitch their innovative ideas, seek mentorship, and explore funding possibilities, fostering a thriving startup ecosystem. The summit provided a roadmap for young entrepreneurs, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and vision required to build successful ventures.
