Investec and the University of Southampton Delhi Announce Educational Partnership

Top-performing students from the University of Southampton Delhi will be able to accelerate their careers in banking and finance thanks to a major new partnership.

The University is proud to announce an educational strategic partnership with Investec, a

leading international bank and wealth manager, to establish a dedicated recruitment pathway for graduates.

Successful students will receive support and expertise from Investec, initially commencing with its Indian operations and with the ambition of expanding this internationally over time.

This collaboration will provide students with an exceptional opportunity to develop their careers by enabling placements during study, paid internships and entry into Investec’s graduate and postgraduate fast track employment programmes.

Working together, Investec and the University are forging a long-term partnership that builds on the strengths and heritage of both institutions to create and leverage impactful opportunities for University of Southampton Delhi students.

This partnership will create opportunities for collaboration across research and innovation, organisational performance improvement, community engagement and corporate social responsibility activities.

The University of Southampton Delhi is the first international campus to be approved in India by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under National Educational Policy guidelines. It offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in finance and business, designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for successful international careers at leading blue-chip institutions such as Investec.

In addition to receiving support within the campus, students will have access to the wider University’s market-leading employability development offering, consisting of online resources, regular workshops, one-to-one guidance and support with qualified careers professionals.

The University of Southampton Delhi opens in August 2025, initially offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in business, computing, economics and finance. Over the coming years, the course offering will expand significantly, to include engineering, healthcare, art and design, social sciences and science and technology.
