Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman Engages with JAIN Online Learners on India’s Growth and Digital Revolution

In an exclusive seminar hosted by JAIN Online, the e-learning platform of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman addressed students on India’s growth journey and digital revolution. The interactive event held at the CMS Business School campus in Bengaluru. More than 3000 JAIN Online learners joined the exclusive telecast and got their insight into the nation’s fiscal direction and development opportunities. Dr. Chenraj Roychand, Chairman and Founder of JGI, along with esteemed dignitaries, extended a warm welcome to Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.

The seminar offered JAIN Online learners a valuable opportunity to interact directly with the Finance Minister on various finance and development topics. Sitharaman encouraged the students to engage intellectually and challenge narratives with facts, underscoring the importance of resilience and ambition. Addressing other questions on India’s digital transformation, she highlighted India’s publicly funded digital infrastructure, which has enabled small businesses to reach global markets without high costs. She cited initiatives like Jan Dhan Yojana that laid the foundation for financial inclusion, opening doors to digital banking for millions. She also emphasised that the government is creating a supportive environment for innovators as well as working towards generating market opportunities for their creations.
