The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) today launched 13 new programs across IGNOU’s various schools including 4 MBA programmes in new domains.
IGNOU’s new programmes include; MBA in Construction Management, MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, MBA in Agribusiness Management, MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management, PG Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology, PG Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, MA Geeta Studies, Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion – Visual Impairment, Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion – Hearing Impairment, Certificate Programme in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion – Intellectual Disability, MSc (Home Science – Community Development and Extension Management).
The institute had released notification about MBA in healthcare & hospital management a few days ago. The course is for graduated students with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the norms of Govt. of India).
Similarly, admissions for MBA Construction Management have also started. The degree programmes are being offered by the School of Engineering and Technology, IGNOU in English medium only for a duration of two years. Candidates will be required to make a fee payment of Rs. 15,500 for each semester, except in semesters 3 where Rs. 17,500 fee payment needs to be made because it has 8 credit projects.
