IIT Bhilai launches eMasters in advanced electrical vehicle systems, eMasters in Applied Mechatronics and Robotics, and eMasters in Data Science & Data Analytics.
The Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai (IIT Bhilai) launched three advanced eMasters programme in partnership with TeamLease EdTech for working professionals, to upskill candidates in the evolving fields of electric vehicles (EVs), data science, and robotics.
The programmes launched by IIT Bhilai jointly are eMasters in advanced electrical vehicle systems, eMasters in applied mechatronics and robotics, and eMasters in data science & data analytics.
As per the official website, the programme is for two academic years (four semesters) and students must complete the programme within a maximum of three academic years (six semesters).
“These online eMasters programs are mainly targeted toward working professionals and those learners who cannot dedicate full time to undergoing master’s programs and their jobs. Also, eMasters courses include dedicated in-campus modules that offer students physical learning experience in an IIT environment and hands-on laboratory sessions,” said Prof. Dr. Rajiv Prakash, Director of IIT Bhilai.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be working professionals with at least two years of work experience.
- Applicants must have BTech , BE, MTech, MSc of at least four semester programmes, MCA (4 semester programme) and MS degree (minimum 4 semester programme).
- Applicants must have a minimum CGPA or CPI of 55 per cent in their qualifying degree.
- Applicants belonging to the SC, ST, or Persons with Disability (PwD) category can qualify with a minimum CGPA or CPI of 50 per cent.
- Applicants’ GATE score is not required and will not be taken into consideration for admission.
Additionally, the selection process will be conducted after the application and counseling period. Selection will be competitive and depend on the number of qualified applicants compared to the available programme seats.
