- IIM Bangalore’s 49th Convocation saw 706 students graduate with 8 gold medals, introducing the Institute Research Award for PhD excellence and honouring the graduation of 706 students
The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) held its 49th Convocation, awarding degrees to students in various programmes including Doctor of Philosophy, MBA, Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management, Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management, Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics and Post Graduate Programme in Management, in the presence of the Chairperson of the Board of Governors.
The Convocation awards also included gold medals for the graduating MBA Students for First Rank and Second Rank and Best All-Round Performance.
IIM Bangalore has introduced the Institute Research Award for a graduating student of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme, which includes a cash prize of INR 1.75 lakh, a certificate and a memento.
A total of 706 students from various programmes have graduated, including 22 PhD students, 78 from the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), 76 from the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), 47 from the Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGP-BA) and 483 from the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP).
