Greenko School of Sustainability Offers PhD Fellowships

The Greenko School of Sustainability (GSS), a partnership between Greenko Group and IIT Hyderabad, has announced PhD fellowships for first-class bachelor’s and master’s engineering graduates. The fellowships offer a monthly stipend of INR 75,000 for up to four years and will be part of seven mission-oriented research and technology development projects in sustainable engineering. The fellowships will be part of seven mission-oriented research and technology development projects.

GSS has launched seven mission-oriented research and technology development projects in sustainable engineering, with selected fellowship candidates participating in these projects.

Greenko School of Sustainability is announcing research fellows for various projects, including the development of a dual fuel CI engine, high-energy lithium-based rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles, solar seawater splitting PEC cells for hydrogen generation, electric swing adsorption for carbon capture and lithium recovery, low-cost organic porous solids for CO2 capture, biomass valorisation and direct reduction using ammonia for iron production.

To be eligible for the Project fellowships, candidates must have cleared national eligibility tests such as UGC-NET/GATE/CEED/CSIR, among others and hold a first-class degree in their respective bachelor’s and master’s programmes.

For MoE fellowships, candidates must hold an MTech/MSc/MArch/MDes in any discipline aligned with the research thrust areas of the school.

The selection process involves a written test or interview, with selected applicants notified via email. The school offers admission to external PhD programmes for candidates with at least 2 years of experience.
