Students of classes IX, X, XI and XII can check their syllabus on the official CBSE website. The CBSE syllabus for classes X and XII has been changing in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Here are some key trends to be aware of:

Competency-Based Learning

The focus is shifting towards a deeper understanding of concepts and the ability to apply them in real-world situations. This means less memorisation and more emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, and project-based work.

Holistic Development

The syllabus is incorporating aspects beyond academics, focusing on developing life skills like communication, collaboration, creativity, and digital literacy.

Integration Of Subjects

Subjects are increasingly being seen as interconnected, with opportunities to learn concepts through a cross-disciplinary lens.

Flexibility And Choice

Students may have more options in choosing electives or streams that align with their interests and future aspirations.

Continuous Evaluation

The weightage of internal assessments and project work is increasing, along with the traditional board exams.
