The faculty outreach programme event by Centurion University of Technology and Management, attended by acclaimed teachers, educational experts, principals and owners of coaching institutes, emphasised the need for skill-integrated education in India by the enshrined guidelines of the National Education Policy 2020.
“The new Education policy emphasises skill-based futuristic education in schools and universities with stakeholders working together to make it a reality. Centurion University offers experiential learning in industries like chalk making and e-rickshaw production, preparing students for the future”, Dr Sukanta Parida, Director of Admissions, Branding and Marketing at Centurion University, said.
“The growing population necessitates an increase in the demand for doctors and paramedics in the healthcare industry. Universities and education centers should ensure industry exposure and compulsory hospital training for students, ensuring they are job-ready immediately after graduation, Dr Sunil Jha, Director, the School of Paramedics and Allied Health Sciences at CUTM, said.
