JBCN’s 2023 annual festival showcases their dedication to excellence, creativity and ethical values, featuring timeless classics, imaginative adaptations and original productions, resulting in an unforgettable experience for the audience.
This multi-day annual festival is a testament to JBCN’s unwavering commitment to nurturing excellence, creativity and ethical values. The 2023 edition took the audience on a mesmerising journey through timeless classics, imaginative adaptations and original productions.
The festivities began with the ‘Wizard of Oz’ and continued with ‘Moonlings’, a production that taught life lessons from failures. Shakespeare’s ‘Comedy of Errors’ was brought to life, offering a lighter perspective on life’s intricacies. Other notable productions included ‘Ravanleela’ and ‘The Government Inspector’. The grand finale featured a fusion of Indian and Western classical music and dance, with learners contributing as writers, assistant directors and producers.
The young Changemakers raised funds for underprivileged schools in Borivali, supported by JBCN. They organised an event featuring games, food stalls and handmade items from the Learning Space Foundation team. The Entrepreneurship Club also held a book exhibition and sale, with proceeds benefiting the community service programme.
