- IIM Jammu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) for its regional center in Jammu and Kashmir
IIM Jammu and IGNCA are forming a five-year partnership to foster a platform for ideas, research and artistic collaboration, aiming to deepen understanding and appreciation of India’s cultural heritage within academic and research circles. The signing of MoU took place at IIM Jammu’s office in New Delhi, with Dr Sachchidanand Joshi as the Director and Dr Priyanka Mishra as the Director of Administration.
“The partnership with IGNCA marks the start of a five-year artistic journey, aiming to foster research in art and Indian ethos, bridging academia and cultural exploration”, B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, said.
“IGNCA is excited to collaborate with IIM Jammu to promote a comprehensive understanding of Indian art and culture, fostering scholarly research and exploration”, Dr Sachchidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, IGNCA, stated.
IGNCA signed a MoU with AIIMS Jammu, enhancing regional collaboration, interdisciplinary engagement, academic and societal contributions, foster research, creativity and community development.
