Amity University Organizes First Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Program

Amity Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Uttar Pradesh, has introduced the first Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Program in India, from 7th June to 5th July 2023.

The initiative is for undergraduate students studying at various Higher Education Institutions in India and abroad, with an aim to enhance their understanding of carrying out research in their chosen field.

The objective of the program is to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to participate in research projects during their summer break and promote academic brilliance, ingenuity, and innovation amongst the students by offering them a platform to work under the guidance of experienced and distinguished faculty members of Amity.

The participants have been selected based on their academic performance, research proposal, and their potential for contribution to their respective field of interest.

Amity received hundreds of applications from students across India and abroad for its first batch of the Fellowship Program, wherein students from renowned colleges including Kamal Nehru Institute of Technology, University of Lucknow, Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kanpur, Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Graphic Era University, Dehradun, Chandigarh University, amongst others, have been selected after a rigorous selection process and recommendation of the panel of experts.

During the 4-week program, students have been engaged in rigorous research activities, including literature review, experimental design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation. The selected participants have been assigned mentors from their respective domains, who help them to develop research methodologies, analyse data, present their findings effectively at conferences and encourage them to publish their work in reputed journals.
