BTech CSE (Human-Computer Interaction and Gaming Technology): Course structure and seats
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a multidimensional subject of study that focuses on the design of computer technology, specifically the interaction and interface between humans (users) and devices and systems that include or embed computing.
The entire course is divided into four years with two semesters each. In each semester, students will have five to six exams. A total of 66 seats are on offer under this programme.
BTech CSE (Human-Computer Interaction and Gaming Technology): Eligibility criteria
Admission to this programme will be carried out on the basis of JEE Advanced score. Additionally, candidates must have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) examination from any recognised state or central board.
BTech CSE (Human-Computer Interaction and Gaming Technology): Course fee
Students will have to pay a tuition fee of Rs 7.92 lakh for this programme. The hostel fee at IIT Nagpur is Rs 3.90 lakh while a sum of Rs 18,000 is also charged as a caution deposit at the time of admission.

Students pursuing this course can take up roles such as game animator, game audio engineer, game programmer, game artist, creative game designer, QA game tester, game system designer etc.
